This nomad life style is agreeing with us. We are enjoying the freedom of the open road. The view from our front window is ever changing. Sometimes it's the ocean waves with seagulls singing their tunes and other times it may be the desert , or a mountain view. Some nights we may boondock in a nature preserve and the next day be in a 5-star resort. When we tire of being in one place, or yearn for adventure, we move. And we do it without packing and without leaving home.
I don't believe this lifestyle will be for all who read this, but for us it is exciting.
April 28,2000. Today we passed papers to sell our house. It was done with mixed emotions. We have lived there 33 years. Now we will take a new road to adventure. I have adopted the following idea from Mark Twain.
" Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bow lines. Sail from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Regardless it feels strange to be homeless!
